Different Dust Collectors Fail for Different Reasons
A cement kiln baghouse, a woodworking dust collector and a waste incineration filter system may all use fabric filter bags, but the failure causes are not the same. Some systems need high-temperature stability. Some need anti-static media. Some need chemical resistance, PTFE membrane, better dust cake release or simply a more accurate top and bottom construction.

Cement Plants

Waste Incineration
Waste incineration and waste-to-energy systems may contain acid gas, corrosive components and fine particles.

Woodworking & Furniture
Woodworking dust collectors usually need economical replacement bags. Some systems also require anti-static media because wood dust can create safety risks.
- Common concerns: old bag replacement, custom hole, poor fit, static risk.
- Recommended: polyester, anti-static polyester and custom size filter bags.
Carbon Black & Chemical Powder
Fine powder and chemical dust collection require careful media selection because dust can be sticky, fine, corrosive or difficult to release.
- Common concerns: fine emissions, blinding, chemical attack, moisture.
- Recommended: PTFE, PPS, P84, PTFE membrane and custom finishing.
