Pinnacle Filter Applications
Filter Bag Solutions by Industrial Application
Pinnacle helps industrial plants and dust collection service companies select suitable filter bags and filter cages according to real working conditions: temperature, dust type, gas chemistry, moisture, cleaning method and current bag failure pattern.
What buyers usually need to confirm
Filter bag material is not selected by product name alone. The same dust collector may require a different media, finish or cage design when the gas condition changes.
Application-first selection
Different Dust Collectors Fail for Different Reasons
A cement kiln baghouse, a woodworking dust collector and a waste incineration filter system may all use fabric filter bags, but the failure causes are not the same. Some systems need high-temperature stability. Some need anti-static media. Some need chemical resistance, PTFE membrane, better dust cake release or simply a more accurate top and bottom construction.
Pinnacle uses the application and working condition as the starting point before recommending fiberglass, polyester, anti-static polyester, aramid, PPS, PTFE, P84, FMS or matched filter cages.
Industries We Serve
Industrial Dust Collector Applications
Cement Plants
Cement kilns, raw mills, coal mills and clinker coolers often require bags that can handle high temperature, fine dust and planned shutdown schedules.
- Common concerns: emissions, pressure drop, acid condensation, cage wear.
- Recommended: fiberglass, PTFE membrane fiberglass, P84, PPS, filter cages.
Asphalt Mixing Plants
Asphalt plants need filter bags that can resist heat, oil mist, sticky dust and frequent temperature changes.
- Common concerns: sticky dust, oil contamination, bag hardening, high pressure drop.
- Recommended: aramid, P84, fiberglass and finish options.
Steel & Metallurgy
Steel plants, rolling mills and foundries often face hot dust, sparks, abrasive particles and heavy-duty baghouse operation.
- Common concerns: abrasion, spark damage, unstable pressure drop, bag-to-cage friction.
- Recommended: aramid, P84, fiberglass, FMS and filter cages.
Waste Incineration
Waste incineration and waste-to-energy systems may contain acid gas, corrosive components and fine particles.
- Common concerns: corrosion, fine dust penetration, moisture, membrane damage.
- Recommended: PTFE, PPS, PTFE membrane fiberglass and acid-resistant finishes.
Woodworking & Furniture
Woodworking dust collectors usually need economical replacement bags. Some systems also require anti-static media because wood dust can create safety risks.
- Common concerns: old bag replacement, custom hole, poor fit, static risk.
- Recommended: polyester, anti-static polyester and custom size filter bags.
Carbon Black & Chemical Powder
Fine powder and chemical dust collection require careful media selection because dust can be sticky, fine, corrosive or difficult to release.
- Common concerns: fine emissions, blinding, chemical attack, moisture.
- Recommended: PTFE, PPS, P84, PTFE membrane and custom finishing.

How Pinnacle Works
From Working Condition to Filter Bag Construction
Check temperature: continuous temperature, peak temperature and shutdown condition.
Review dust and gas: moisture, oxygen, acid/alkali, oil mist, sticky dust and combustible dust risk.
Confirm bag design: diameter, length, top type, bottom type, seam, cage and quantity.
Suggest construction: filter media, surface finish, reinforcement and filter cage matching.
Why application pages matter
Many buyers do not search only by material name. They search by the problem they have: cement plant emissions, asphalt plant sticky dust, woodworking dust collector bags, or waste incineration PTFE filter bags.
This page helps buyers connect their industry problem with the correct Pinnacle product page.
