Laboratory and final inspection

Material tests, controlled conditions and final bag checks

Testing and final inspection are matched to the confirmed material, bag construction and purchase requirement. The equipment below supports material review; finished-bag dimensions, construction and visible condition are recorded separately before dispatch.

Digital fabric thickness gauge used to check industrial filter media thickness

Weight sample inspection for industrial filter bag material
Sample mass

01

Material weight and thickness

Where they form part of the agreed construction, sample mass and fabric thickness can be checked against the confirmed material requirement before cutting.

Fabric tensile strength testing equipment for filter media review

02

Fabric-strength testing

Where the specification calls for it, tensile testing supports review of fabric strength before the finished bag is released.

Automatic air permeability tester used for filter media testing

03

Air-permeability testing

Air permeability can be measured to support review of fabric structure and the specified filtration and cleaning application.

Temperature test chamber used for controlled-condition evaluation of filter media

04

Controlled-condition testing

Where required, samples can be conditioned at a controlled temperature before a project-specific evaluation. Temperature, duration and acceptance criteria follow the agreed requirement.

Testing scope is selected for the material, bag design and purchase requirement. The equipment shown represents available inspection capability; not every test is applied to every order.

Representative final inspection record

What can be recorded before a bag is released

A finished-bag inspection record compares the relevant requirement with measured or observed results. The checkpoints below reflect the type of information used for a custom filter bag sample and production review.

Bag dimensionsBag length, flat width at the head, middle and bottom, plus cut length and cut width where relevant.
Construction and fitCuff or snap-band fit, reinforcements, seam overlap, stitch spacing and tube-sheet interface where specified.
Material and componentsMedia identification, sewing thread, tape or strip details and specified fitting components.
Final appearanceLabels, colour consistency, visible workmanship, thread quality, cleanliness and packing readiness.

Actual checkpoints and acceptance values are confirmed against the relevant drawing, sample or purchase requirement.

Useful input for a correct review

Send the bag details you already have

You do not need a complete engineering package. A bag photo, basic dimensions, a drawing, temperature, dust type and gas conditions help us start the technical review.

  • Flat width or diameter and overall bag length
  • Top, bottom, cuff, snap band or collar construction
  • Current material, operating temperature and dust type
  • Photos of the installed bag, cage and damaged area if applicable

Specification-led production support

Quality review is part of the replacement process

We do not promise a generic “one-size-fits-all” filter bag. The goal is to identify the material and construction details that fit the operating condition and existing baghouse hardware.
