Review this option for hot, dry asphalt dust collection, together with the existing bag specification and operating history.
Confirm before selection: normal and peak temperature, moisture exposure, gas conditions and cleaning method.

03 / Replacement fit
The material is only part of the specification.
For a replacement order, confirm the connection details before production. A drawing, a labelled photograph or an old sample can help resolve an ambiguous size description.
Keep the bag and cage information together so the proposed construction can be checked against the existing collector.
Details worth checking twice
- Bag dimensions: diameter, length and the measurement reference used.
- Top connection: snap band, cuff or other fixing detail; opening dimensions where available.
- Bottom construction: shape, reinforcement and any special detail on the existing bag.
- Cage fit: diameter, length, joint design and visible damage or corrosion.
- Order scope: quantity, collector model and required replacement schedule.
Practical questions
Before you request a quote
Can I order using only the bag diameter and length?
Those dimensions are a useful start. To confirm the replacement, also send the top and bottom construction, quantity, current media and operating conditions. Include a drawing or photos if the connection detail is unclear.
Should I reorder the same material?
If the existing bags performed well, share that specification and service history. If life has shortened or the failure pattern has changed, include the operating changes and damage photos so the review does not rely on the material name alone.
Do all asphalt plants need the same filter bag?
No single specification is proposed here for every plant. The collector design, operating record, dust condition and replacement dimensions need to be reviewed together.
What if I do not know the existing media?
Send any label, previous invoice or specification sheet you have, together with bag photos and operating details. Photographs alone may not reliably identify the fibre; mark uncertain information as unknown.
